We have lots of fun things planned…OPTIONAL mystery quilt, many demos throughout the weekend. Come join us while the snow is blowing outside, we will be inside creating and learning and having fun with all the Ivy Thimble Quilters! Again this year we will have Mary, our Licensed Massage Therapist, on hand Saturday for chair massages or, if you like, 1/2hr massages.

We now have a Beginner Grad Class!
Many of you completed your quilt with the Beginner Class and wanted to know what to do next…we have just the quilt!
It’s beautiful and hanging in the classroom…stop in to check it out … it’s strip piecing, helping you to conquer that perfect ¼” seam.
*For those that want to learn ALL the techniques, paper-piecing, appliqué, just plain piecing…Cindy is doing a block of the month…using your stash! Stop in the shop to see the sample…you’ll get to learn it ALL!
*Pam has an adorable Summer Day Sampler Class on Saturdays …
a row by row class, oh so sweet for spring.
This class is a 6 month class so it should be completed for you come summer!
*Barb is continuing to have you for breakfast once a month…YUM!!
She’s got some great new projects lined up …most classes are a one time class.
So come for a yummy breakfast and a fun Saturday project.
*Joyce and Pam have joined forces to teach us all how to do those adorable penny wool candle mats and so much more!! Stop in soon to see our new “WOOL DEPARTMENT”…
we’ve had so much fun planning it.
Our first class will be Saturday, Jan 30…If you’ve been like me, admired them and wanted to try your hand at it but not sure where to begin….begin NOW with Joyce and Pam…
you just might see me in that class!

The Marcus Bros Civil War Block of the Month program is almost full…we have spots open for the evening class and we’re ready to open another day class. Stop in soon to see the sample and ‘touch’ the fabrics. It’s quite the quilt, large, but don’t let it scare you…it will be an heirloom for years to come. Along with the Civil War Block of the Month Joanne is also doing another – “Covering America”…a block for each state of the United States! It’s outstanding…last heard she had 48 blocks done and hopes to have the sample in the shop within the week!!!! She has shared her progress with many of us...it’s stunning!! While the Marcus Bros Civil War Block of the Month is a program including fabrics the “Covering America” class allows you to use your STASH! How wonderful is that!
*For those of you that are looking for something else…Joyce is starting her own little class … she wants to do some dabbling in the 30s, she’s getting like our Pat…she’s really liking them…she’s got some cute little projects up her sleeve so lets think out of the box and do something in the 30s girls…such sweet fabrics.
SUPER BOWL SUNDAY!!
Many of you have been asking what we’re doing…we have it all planned! It will be great fun! We’re waiting for the fabric to arrive – ANY DAY now…so Pam can get her sample ready and then we’ll be able to announce what we’re doing!! Guaranteed you will LOVE IT! We can’t wait! As you know each year space fills up fast …it’s a great way to spend the day for YOU and then still be home in time for the Super Bowl festivities.
