Happy Holidays from Ivy Thimble
Ivy Thimble is winding down for the holidays.
Just in case you’re still pondering on what to get your quilter friends we have lots of little gadgets, notions,

Happy Thanksgiving
So much to tell you about all that is new at Ivy Thimble!
We are back from Quilt Market and have begun unpacking all that we brought back
Some of the goodies we couldn’t bring back…they’re arriving DAILY!
We have many new books to share with you…
some using the pre-cut fabrics…some using the large prints…
some making those adorable small quilts that are fun to make after a large project.
We came back with new patterns too!
A set that is really fun is from “Liberty Homestead”…
They’re displayed in a beautiful wooden sewing box…
They are a Civil War themed pattern in a 3x5 spiral bound book…all for $9!

News From Ivy Thimble
What a wonderful, GIVING weekend we had at Ivy Thimble!
Our 2011 Food Drive was OVER THE TOP successful!
We took in OVER 1000 POUNDS of food for our local food cupboards!!!
You all amazed us at how much you brought and how thoughtful the items were from canned goods, tuna fish, cereal, paper products to toothpaste! WOW! That’s all we can say!
As always….you made us PROUD!

She started in October using a new ruler and book….

Our MOUNTAIN of quilts for Joplin, Missouri grew unbelievably over the weekend! We are ALL so proud of each and every one of you for your generosity. We have OVER 100 quilts and pillowcases to send to the many people that lost everything in Joplin. Just to remind you we will be ending this event at the close of business on Thursday, June 9. I plan on shipping everything off to Joplin on Friday, June 10.
