Remember you can simply hit “REPLY, Santa’s Elf will put the item in your bag OR call the shop and order the item. You can order as many of each item as you like but realize quantities are limited. We ask that you give us your credit card in the beginning, it will be stored safely and shredded at the end. It’s just around the corner...beginning Friday evening, Nov 30.... we will begsending emails regarding the 12 Days of Specials for you to decide upon! Watch your email inbox…we’ll showcase one item each day, YOU get to stuff your stocking with what you want ~ simply hit “REPLY” or call the shop letting us know how many you would like. You can also call us with your credit card information and we will record your purchases each day but will NOT charge your account until the event is complete, Friday, Dec 14. Thanksgiving FUN at Ivy Thimble!

All of us at Ivy Thimble have been busy planning new classes for the upcoming year. Joanne has some new ideas for our monthly seasons class….some new tablerunners that are just too fun!!! Watch the calendar for the monthly pictures …we’ll offer day and night classes for this! Have you been wanting to learn to paperpiece? Cindy is ready to get you started and keep you going!! She’ll be having a beginner paperpiecing class and following up with more classes to keep your paperpiecing skills up to speed! Barb has new Breakfast Classes scheduled and she’ll be popping in other classes throughout the coming months. Our latest block of the month, Saltbox Sampler…is WONDERFUL!! Our day class is full BUT we have room in our evening class. It begins in January! New Stuff at Ivy Thimble

We’re back from Quilt Market safe and sound. we brought back lots of new goodies for you that we’ll be introducing very soon. We have a new kit to make those adorable little shoes for your little ones…new books… a new version of the Rubik’s cube that you can make with fabric so anyone can play! We now have a selection of Wonderfil’s Metallic Threads – we have tubes of golds/silvers and red/greens….great for your holiday projects! While we were gone AND when we returned two BIG shipments of more batiks arrived!!!! As always, each one is prettier than the one before…be sure to browse the aisle to see what you can find. Don’t forget those great “quilt as you go” placemats – each kit makes FOUR! Just in time for the holiday rush –quick and easy! We’ll be hosting a Demo Day ALL day! We’re planning to share with you a couple of new ‘toys’ we brought back from market along with a few small, quick projects that will make great holiday gifts. We’re having a Mystery Quilt, “Bobbin Along”! It begins NOW! How does the mystery, Bobbin Along, work? This mystery quilt is a six part series. Each part will include cutting and piecing instructions. Stop in the shop any day that is convenient for you to join us on our mystery, pick up the first of the six parts of the “Mystery Quilt…Bobbin Along”. Your first part of the mystery will give you fabric requirements and your first instructions. Fabric requirements will make a twin quilt, 69 x 87 including a narrow border. If you’d like to make your quilt a double, queen or a king…you have the option of adding a second border, the yardage is given! How EASY is this! Begin selecting your fabric and you are on your way to solving, "Bobbin Along". Each step of the mystery quilt will be available on the 15th of the month for the following five months (i.e. December 15, January 15, February 15, March 15 and April 15). If you desire to have the additional steps mailed to you please let us know when you sign-up. We’d be glad to mail them to you. The cost to participate in our first Mystery Quilt…Bobbin Along is $5...that’s $5 for all six parts of the Mystery Quilt how great is that! Join us now in creating Bobbin Along. Barb is creating this mystery quilt along with you. She is steps ahead and assures us it’s beautiful, no mistakes and it can be made for a man or woman. She has posted fabric samples on our board to give you ideas and direction on how to pick your fabrics if you need that extra little bit of help.
