New Stuff at Ivy Thimble

We’re back from Quilt Market safe and sound. we brought back lots of new goodies for you that we’ll be introducing very soon. We have a new kit to make those adorable little shoes for your little ones…new books… a new version of the Rubik’s cube that you can make with fabric so anyone can play! We now have a selection of Wonderfil’s Metallic Threads – we have tubes of golds/silvers and red/greens….great for your holiday projects! While we were gone AND when we returned two BIG shipments of more batiks arrived!!!! As always, each one is prettier than the one before…be sure to browse the aisle to see what you can find. We’ll be hosting a Demo Day ALL day! We’re planning to share with you a couple of new ‘toys’ we brought back from market along with a few small, quick projects that will make great holiday gifts. We’re having a Mystery Quilt, “Bobbin Along”! It begins NOW! How does the mystery, Bobbin Along, work? This mystery quilt is a six part series. Each part will include cutting and piecing instructions. Stop in the shop any day that is convenient for you to join us on our mystery, pick up the first of the six parts of the “Mystery Quilt…Bobbin Along”. Your first part of the mystery will give you fabric requirements and your first instructions. Fabric requirements will make a twin quilt, 69 x 87 including a narrow border. If you’d like to make your quilt a double, queen or a king…you have the option of adding a second border, the yardage is given! How EASY is this! Begin selecting your fabric and you are on your way to solving, "Bobbin Along". Each step of the mystery quilt will be available on the 15th of the month for the following five months (i.e. December 15, January 15, February 15, March 15 and April 15). If you desire to have the additional steps mailed to you please let us know when you sign-up. We’d be glad to mail them to you. The cost to participate in our first Mystery Quilt…Bobbin Along is $5...that’s $5 for all six parts of the Mystery Quilt how great is that! Join us now in creating Bobbin Along. Barb is creating this mystery quilt along with you. She is steps ahead and assures us it’s beautiful, no mistakes and it can be made for a man or woman. She has posted fabric samples on our board to give you ideas and direction on how to pick your fabrics if you need that extra little bit of help.
