. Did you know that Thursday, January 24 is Visit Your Local Quilt Shop Day? It is a worldwide celebration for quilters and independently owned quilt shops everywhere! Quilters and fabric lovers around the country are encouraged to show their support for local, independent quilt shops on the inaugural "Visit Your Local Quilt Shop Day" Where would we be without our Local Quilt Shop, Ivy Thimble? It is the safe haven in a world of daily pressures. It is a place to be inspired, meet up with friends (new and old), a place to be at home with creativity. And for us here at Ivy Thimble... where would we be without you? Who would visit the shop to share stories and show us ongoing projects? Who would buy up our fabric, giving us an excuse to buy more?
